Key Features
Media Management
Watch as your media files organize themselves! There are no skills to
learn and nothing that needs to be remembered. MediaOne Gallery
automatically arranges available media into manageable sizes that grouped
into intuitive categories. If intuitive is not enough, then the user can
tag them in any way they like.
Internet Media Download
Not even the Internet can elude MediaOne Gallery’s media nose. Any website
that can be browsed is sniffed for media content which is then made
available for download at the user’s convenience. Of course, any files
downloaded are automatically arranged with Media Management.
Device Management
With so many ways to explore the new multimedia millennium,
device-dependant programs are just not good enough anymore. Mobile phones
with cameras, web cams, digital TVs, USB HDs and MP3 players traditionally
come with their own dedicated program. MediaOne Gallery neatly severs the
need with the ability to read and import media from any device that plugs
into a PC.
Burn CDs/DVDs Directly
User found their files? Of course they did! Now they can burn them as they
see fit in an extraordinary number of ways. With MediaOne Gallery, create
HighMAT, Enhanced, Mixed, Data, Music, MPV and Bootable Disks.
Google Desktop Search
The boffins at Google have come up with a beautiful utility that hides
itself in the users desktop ready to produce files, documents, chat
conversations, and in fact anything that every past the users’ eyes from
the moment Desktop Search was installed. Google Desktop Search sneaks
around the computer sniffing out data and cataloguing for later searches.
After typing in a search query, the results of an internet search and a
desktop search are presented together with the familiar Google search
page. With this utility the user will never have to remember what’s on
their hard disk again!
Virtual Drive
Back up disk images to hard disk, and then mount a virtual drive to use it
as if it were an extra CD/DVD drive! Multiple virtual drives and can be
mounted to play VCDs/DVDs, games and even store images of virtual media
library files.
DVD Playback
Play DVD and movie files exactly the same as on a normal DVD player.
Except, this one is not normal because there are options to chop up movies
into manageable segments, set key frames, and copy sections to new files.
Disc Tools
Burn, erase and copy disks with simplicity and ease using the InterVideo
familiar single screen wizard, in just three steps! Select the task, and
then follow the instructions on screen to easily complete the task you
wish to do.

Targeted Customers
MediaOne Gallery is a smaller, faster, powerful and easy-to-use multimedia
player which can play all kinds of multimedia files, such as video, audio,
and graphics. It integrates the functions of picture viewer, music, video
and VCD/DVD player with high quality. It takes up very small space in your
hard disk and main memory, so this means that it can run on your computer
more quickly and more steadily than other bulky players.
MediaOne Gallery certainly does not compete feature for feature with
Adobe's Premiere Pro 2 nor Apple's Final Cut Pro, but instead it does very
well what it has been designed to do. MediaOne Gallery is a superb entry
level digital media solution that I suspect will meet the needs of most
folks with an interest in burning, authoring, and sharing their digital
media files. It is also much more reasonably priced than its more
expensive counterparts, and it is a wise choice for bundling on so many
new PCs.
MediaOne supports the playlist format *.m3u and can load, save, or remove
the playlist as you wish. It supports the multimedia file format: *.ifo;
*.asf; *.wma; *.wmv; *.avi; *.qt; *.mov; *.mpg; *.mpeg; *.m1v; *.dat;
*.mp4; *.divx; *.wav; *.mpa; *.mp2; *.mp3; *.au; *.aif; *.aiff; *.snd;
*.mid; *.midi; *.rmi; *.jpg; *.bmp; *.gif; *.tga; *.jpeg
