Today's presentation on Nook Books by the Barnes and Noble staff is a great example of how quickly technology advances. The new Nookbook is truly a impressive device, and even more improved since last years demonstration.  

The Windows 8 Preview Demo is an indication of what is to come and what to expect from Microsoft. I was impressed with the boot speed and the IE 10 response as well as the Apps. I am sure there will be many more "improvements" when the final OS is released. 

A majority of today's meeting voted to discontinue using the projector and screen and go back to using the 36 inch monitor. However, we will keep the projector/screen in hopes of finding a better visual configuration. Please give us your opinions.
